X RAY GENERATING APPARATUS AND X-RAY IMAGE PHOTOGRAPHING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate parallel X rays easily and to acquire an X-ray image having an excellent image quality using the X rays. SOLUTION: A two dimensional X-ray source of an X-ray generating apparatus 10 is formed by using a plurality of X-ray tubes made of carbon nanotubes as cathodes for emitting electrons and by arranging X-ray radiation windows for taking out the X rays from the X-ray tubes two dimensionally. The X-ray emitted from the two dimensional X-ray source of the X-ray generating apparatus 10 transmits through an object 15 and irradiated to an X-ray image detector 20. The X-ray image detector 20 generates image signals of an X-ray image on the basis of the intensity of the irradiating X rays. A collimeter 71 having cribriform holes arranged two-dimensionally is disposed between the two-dimensional X-ray source of the X-ray generating apparatus 10 and the object 15 so that the axial direction of the holes agrees with the direction of the two dimensional X-ray source and the object.
