The circuit includes a converter (109) comprising a digital correction device, a D/A converter (111) and an analog filter (101). A feedback device (108) controls the digital correction device to give a predetermined frequency characteristic for the converter. The feedback device comprises a measuring device for measuring the time constant (103) of the analog filter to determine a filter corner frequency, and outputs a control signal based on the determined corner frequency. An Independent claim is included for a method of filtering electrical signals.
