<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device requiring only small attaching space in radial direction and/or axial direction. <P>SOLUTION: The device is constituted of an axis seal ring supported still, in a housing which is provided with a polymer material-made seal lip contacting an axis, a pulse wheel which is provided with a pulse generator and rotates together with the axis, put in front of the axis seal ring and surrounds the axis with an intervals in radial direction, and a sensor. The pulse generator 7 is constituted of a generator wheel 13, having teeth 14 formed with a cylindrical sleeve 24 having a magnetic pole 8 or provided to the outer circle and gap between teeth. The seal lip 9 has a circular disk shape, and the inner periphery region of the circular disk is extended toward the pulse wheel and the inner periphery region of the circular disk infiltrates the gap formed by the gap between the sleeve 24 and the axis 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
