<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller of a hybrid vehicle for reducing a wheel spinning of a wheel driven by a motor, in the vehicle having an engine drive wheel driven by an engine, and a motor drive wheel driven by a motor drivable at a non-drive wheel of the engine. <P>SOLUTION: The controller 20 includes the engine 11, front wheels 12 driven by the engine, generator 15 coupled to and driven by the engine, and an electric motor 13 drivable at rear wheels 14 of non-drive wheels of the engine connected to the generator and carried in the vehicle for controlling an output of the electric motor 13 drivable at rear wheels 14 of the non-drive wheels of the engine connected to the generator. In the controller 20, field current of the motor and field current 20 of the generator are controlled by the controller 20.
