<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus and a recording medium processing unit, enabling stable wireless communication with saved energy without causing increase in cost. <P>SOLUTION: A communication apparatus 1 includes a first antenna 11 generating its own magnetic field and transmitting/receiving communication data, and a second antenna 12 disposed opposite to the first antenna 11 at a predetermined interval, without generating own magnetic field.
