<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a linear motor from being broken by avoiding the collision of movable parts such as a piston without using a position sensor. <P>SOLUTION: In accordance with the magnitude of an output voltage (including an output voltage command and an output voltage detected value) of a single phase inverter 2, this control device for a linear motor comprises an offset command generator 26 for controlling the position of the piston, an adder 25 for superposing the offset voltage command to the original output voltage command of the single phase inverter 2, comparators 17, 18 for driving a semiconductor switching element of the single phase inverter 2 according to the output voltage command superposed with the offset voltage command, a distributor 19, a dead-time generation means 20, and a gate driver 21 or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
