<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the width of a card connector by installing a heart-shaped cam for card ejection in a side wall of an ejecting member, and to make compact as a whole so that the length of the whole card connector is made short by manufacturing the ejecting member short. <P>SOLUTION: In the card connector formed in a hollow housing shape with a lower housing member and an upper housing member incorporated with the lower housing member and having an ejecting mechanism ejecting a card, the ejecting mechanism has the ejecting member ejecting the card, and a spring member elastically energizing the ejecting member, the heart-shaped cam is installed in the side wall of the ejecting member, a loop-shaped cam groove is formed in the circumference of the heart-shaped cam, and one end of a cam lever whose the other end is supported with the housing member is is installed so as to be slidable along a guide groove in the circumference of the heart-shaped cam. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
