<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture content measuring device capable of providing a sufficiently high measuring accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: This moisture content measuring device comprises a tungsten lamp 61 radiating light to a measured object, a silicon photo diode 62 receiving reflected light from the measured object and transmitting an output according to the received light amount, a pyroelectric element 63 receiving the reflected light from the measured object and transmitting an output according to a variation in the received light amount, and a control circuit 51 calculating the moisture content of the measured object based on output signals from the silicon photo diode 62 and the pyroelectric element 63. The control circuit 51 is formed so as to calculate, by using a deformed equation formed by applying a correction by the Saderson's correcting equation to the equation of Kubelka-Munk theory, the water content of the measured object based on light reflactance data led from the output signals from the silicon diode 62 and the light reflectance data led from the output signals from pyroelectric element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
