PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lay each kind of electric wirings of an engine room side along a dash panel in a required direction. SOLUTION: The electric connector comprises a receiving housing 2 having many of male type connection terminals 4, an inserting housing 3 having many of female type connection terminals 5 corresponding to the receiving housing 2, and a cover shaped rear protector 6 for fitting with a rear end of the inserting housing 3 so as to change a direction. The rear protector 6 is provided with an electric wire lead-out port 8 protruded from a part of a peripheral wall 7 in a vertical direction or an approximately vertical direction to an axial direction, and a plurality of locking means 18 for mutually locking are arranged between an outer peripheral surface of the peripheral wall 7 and an outer peripheral surface of the inserting housing 3 so as to change an engagement counterpart. As the locking means 18, a plurality of locking claws 19 are arranged with an equal interval on either of the outer peripheral surface of the peripheral wall 7 of the rear protector 6 and the outer peripheral surface of the inserting housing 3, and an locking piece 21 with a plurality of engagement windows 20 for selectively engaging with the locking claws 19 is arranged on the other.
