PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an initial screen applied with power is vexatious in some cases with a projection image display device, such as a projector. SOLUTION: The display device has a first mode which displays a first video without displaying a second video when applied with the power of a device body and a second mode which displays the second video when applied with the power of the device body and switches the video to the first video and displays the image when set conditions are satisfied.
