PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage suitability of photographic paper and supplementary liquid to a photographic processor. SOLUTION: Photographic paper containers 12a and 12b and supplementary liquid containers 15a and 15b are fitted with IC memory units 17. Version information is written to the respective IC memory units 17. Information readers 18a to 18d provided to loading parts read the written version information. According to a combination of read pieces of version information, processing condition prescriptions previously stored in a table are collated to decide whether the containers are suitable. When so, the carrying speed and processing temperature of a development processing part 14 are controlled to the processing condition prescriptions to be placed under the best conditions. When not so, on the other hand, an alarm part 82 is placed in operation. No processing by an improper combination is performed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
