摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device of simple constitution capable of measuring the intra-plane magnetization and/or magnetic field component separately from the vertical magnetization and/or magnetic field component. SOLUTION: The measuring device is equipped with a light condensing means 106 to condense the light flux from a light source 101 and cast onto a magnetic substance member to be measured, a 180-degree rotating asymmetric element 111 which acts only on the light flux reflected by the magnetic substance member for giving a sensitivity for the intra-plane magnetized component of the magnetic substance member and where the action on the polarization distribution in the section of the light flux is asymmetrical about 180-degree rotation round the optical axis, and polarized light separation sensors 113, 115, 120 which separate one-direction polarized light component of the light cast on from the 180-degree rotating asymmetric element or the polarize light components intersecting orthogonally to each other and sense the photo-quantity of each component, wherein the measurability is established by separating one-direction component of the intra-plane magnetization from the other components.
