PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compactly form an engine by simplifying a structure of a transmission means for engine power to an auxiliary machine. SOLUTION: A plurality of the auxiliary machines (a cooling pump 31 and an alternator 32) driven by a crank shaft 13 are vertically arranged in a line at an end portion of the engine 2 in a state that axes are parallel with a vehicular width direction. Rotation shafts 37, 72 of the auxiliary machine are coupled by coupling gear wheels 71, 75 so as to work together. A gear wheel (a coupling gear wheel of the alternator 32) positioned at one end portion of a power transmitting path made from the coupling gear wheels 71, 75 is engaged with a driving gear wheel in the crank shaft side 13.
