PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary flushing device enabling flushing by flushing water at a proper temperature and flushing by flushing water at a sufficient flow rate. SOLUTION: When it is determined that a buttock switch is depressed, a control section starts a flushing operation in a temperature priority mode. The flow rate of flushing water is adjusted within the range of the temperature-increasing capacity of a ceramic heater so that the temperature of flushing water can be heated surely at 40°C in the temperature priority mode. When it is determined that a power switch is depressed, the control section starts the flushing operation in a flow-rate priority mode. The flow rate of flushing water is adjusted regardless of the temperature-increasing capacity of the ceramic heater in the flow-rate prority mode. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
