PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culture apparatus and culture medium-exchanging method capable of automating exchange operation of a culture medium by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The culture apparatus 1 is equipped with a cell-culturing part 2 for culturing a cell and a culture medium storage part 3 for storing a culture medium A. The cell-culturing part 2 is equipped with a feed port 2a capable of feeding the culture medium A stored in the culture medium storage part 3 from above the culture medium A stored in the cell culturing part 2 to the upper part and a discharge outlet 2b for discharging the culture medium A to the outside of the cell culturing part 2 when a liquid level of the culture medium A stored in the cell-culturing part 2 attains a prescribed liquid level.
