PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To align and stack sheets in a sheet receiving part for stapling the sheets even if a transported sheet is curled. SOLUTION: In this sheet receiving part, the leading end of the transported sheet S and one side thereof are respectively received by a sheet end receiving part 32 and an intermediate tray 31 provided with a gradient. The device is provided with a first and second elastic film members f1, f2 for energizing the vicinity of the leading end of the sheet to be stacked on the sheet receiving part from both sides of the sheet, respectively substantially opposite to each other, and a third elastic film member 3 for energizing the vicinity of the leading end of the sheet toward the surface received by the intermediate tray 31 in positions on both outer positions of the sheet. Each elastic film member is fixed on the upstream side in the transport direction of the sheet, and provided in the oblique direction of the sheet surface toward the downstream side in the transport direction of the sheet.
