PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication unit for a toilet apparatus, which enables control for preventing time differences from occurring in a plurality of devices, and can be simplified. SOLUTION: The toilet apparatuses with washing function means for performing sanitary washing treatment according to a control signal are installed; the communication unit for the toilet apparatus has a remote control means for performing radio communication for the toilet apparatuses; the remote control means is equipped with a data transmission part for transmitting a commonly recognizable identification code to the toilet apparatuses separately from individual identification codes for identifying the respective toilet apparatuses; and the toilet apparatus is equipped with a means for recognizing the identification code common among the toilet apparatuses, separately from the individual identification codes for identifying each of the toilet apparatuses.
