<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor, in which positional deviations of a terminal connecting member, which ensures electrical continuity between a sensor element and lead wires drawn inside the gas sensor from the outside, hardly occur. <P>SOLUTION: The gas sensor comprises both the sensor element 29, having a plurality of terminals on the side of a base end and the terminal connecting member 51 for electrically connecting between the terminals of the sensor element 29 and the lead wires 41 drawn from the base end side of the gas sensor. The terminal connecting member 51 and the sensor element 29 are sandwiched and fixed, by means of two or more sandwiching members 61 and 62 arranged in the outer circumference of both. The terminal connecting member 51 has protrusion parts for fixation in its side facing the sandwiching members 61 and 62. The sandwiching members have recessed parts for fixation, capable of fitting to the protrusion parts for fixation at their sides facing the terminal connecting member 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
