<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel power saving circuit with less number of part items and reduced in size and cost. <P>SOLUTION: The power saving circuit is configured such that one end of a first capacitor 1 is connected to one pole of an AC power supply 6, a series circuit composed of a switching element 2 and a second capacitor 3 is connected to the one pole of the AC power supply 6, the first capacitor 1 and the series circuit are connected in parallel with each other, one AC terminal of a rectifying bridge 7 is connected to other ends of the first capacitor 1 and the second capacitor 3, the other AC terminal of the rectifying bridge 7 is connected to the other pole of the AC power supply 6, a load 12 is connected to the other end of the switching element 2, and the load 12 is connected to the other pole of the AC power supply 6 and the other AC terminal of the rectifying bridge 7. The power saving circuit comprises a circuit means that feeds a current to a DC power supply 10 and the load 12 via the first capacitor 1 and the second capacitor 3 when the switching element 2 is turned on. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
