<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold reserving material having excellent adhesiveness to a food or the like, hardly damaging the food or the like, providing sufficient reliability to the safety, and suitably usable in application for preservation, cooling or the like in a field of the food, medical care or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The cold preserving material comprises water and additives consisting essentially of a sodium polyacrylate and a pour point depressant.
