PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a message transmission reception system capable of efficiently imparting identification numbers to a plurality of packet data by avoiding duplicate identification in the case of imparting the identification numbers to the plurality of packet data configuring a message.

SOLUTION: The message transmitter 100 and the message receiver 110 are interconnected via a network bus 120. The message transmitter 100 is provided with: a message transmission reception control section 102; a return condition designation section 103; an identification number selection section 104; an identification number providing section 105; a data transmission section 106; and a return identification number reception section 107. The message receiver 110 is provided with: a data reception section 112; an identification number read section 113; a message processing section 114; a return condition processing section 115; and an identification number return section 116.
