<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of exhausting heated air in which heat is generated from a power source substrate out of a main body case without affecting other substrates by effectively using a limited space in the main body case. <P>SOLUTION: A low-voltage power source substrate 90 is disposed downstream in the directions of flow paths (examples are shown by arrows F to I) of air flowing from a suction inlet 101 and exhausted by a power source fan 116. Heat sinks 90j are provided for high heat-generating electronic components (except a transformer) of the low-voltage power source substrate 90. Their plate faces are disposed on the substrate along the directions of the air flow paths, thereby minimizing air flow path resistance. Heated air in which heat is generated from the high heat-generating electronic components is exhausted by the power source fan 116 without exerting the effect of heat on a high-voltage power source substrate 95 and an engine substrate 98 which are disposed upstream in the directions of the air flow paths. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
