摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs of a trackless self-traveling dolly for carrying, capable of traveling forwards and backwards and laterally in parallel to right and left right sides, to which obstruction detectors 7a-7d for detecting obstructions in a front part in the travel direction are provided. SOLUTION: The obstruction detectors 7a-7d respectively selectable of operating/non-operating and of obstruction detecting directions are arranged on at least two diagonal corner parts of four corners of front, rear, right and left of a vehicle 1, and controllers 10 for obstruction detection are also provided thereto. The controller 10 is constituted to operate the obstruction detectors 7a, 7b or 7c, 7d on the travel direction side of the obstruction detectors 7a-7d with directing the obstruction detecting direction to the travel direction when the vehicle 1 normally travels forwards and backwards. It is also constituted to operate the obstruction detectors 7b, 7d or 7a, 7c on the lateral direction side of the obstruction detectors 7a-7d with directing the obstruction detecting direction to the lateral direction when the vehicle 1 travels laterally to right and left.
