PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency power amplifier capable of matching a second or higher order harmonic while having higher power efficiency and having smaller size than before. SOLUTION: The high frequency power amplifier 100 comprises a transistor Tr to which a high frequency signal is input and which amplifies the high frequency signal and outputs it, a fundamental wave matching circuit 120 whose one end is connected to the output of the transistor Tr for carrying out impedance matching of the amplified high frequency signal and outputting it from the other end, a power supply 132 for supplying power to the transistor from a node 150 between the output of the transistor Tr and the matching circuit 120, an inductor L20 whose one end is connected to the power supply 132, an inductor L30 connected in series between the other end of the inductor L20 and the node 150, and a capacitor C30 whose one end is connected to between the inductors L20 and L30 and whose other end is grounded for forming a series resonant circuit together with the inductor L30 and for forming a parallel resonant circuit together with the inductor L30.
