INDUCTION HEATING COOKER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect the temperature of a pot placed on a top plate. SOLUTION: This induction heating cooker is provided with a reflecting mirror 7 shut up in a space formed between the lower face of the top plate 2; an infrared sensor 8 for detecting infrared rays; a band-pass filter 9 mounted to the light receiving face of the infrared sensor 8; an amplifier 10 for amplifying the output of the infrared sensor 8; a temperature computing means 11 for computing the temperature of the pot bottom face from the output of the amplifier 10; and an aperture material 13 provided at the center of the top plate 2 to transmit the infrared rays from the pot bottom face. A space between the lower face of the top plate and the interior of the reflecting mirror is provided with characteristics similar to a blackbody, to accurately measure the temperature of the pot bottom in a non-contact state.
