PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compatibly reduce the tire rolling noise and improve the hydroplane-resistant performance at a higher level, and also to improve the partial wear-resistant performance. SOLUTION: Four circumferential main grooves 2-5 located asymmetrically with respect to the tire equatorial line E to demarcate land arrays in each of a center area and both areas. The total of the volume of the transverse grooves formed in a shoulder land array 7 per unit width in the circumferential direction at a part forming an inner fitting side is set to be smaller than the similar total of the volume of the transverse grooves 11 formed in the shoulder land array 9 at a part forming an outer fitting side. A land array 6 in the center area forms a rib, inclined grooves 13 extending at the mean angle of≥45°with respect to the tread width direction are formed in a second inner land array 8 adjacent to the tire equatorial line side of the shoulder land array 7 on the inner fitting side, and these inclined grooves 13 are opened in the circumferential main grooves adjacent to the inner fitting side of the second inner land array 8.
