PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device which reduces an influence of radial noise caused by heat or PWM modulation generated at a driving circuit. SOLUTION: The driving circuit 4 is provided at a surface, an output shaft hole 9 for passing an output shaft of an electric motor, a substrate 8 in which a wiring hole 10 positioned around the output shaft hole 9, and a brush for the electric motor disposed on the back side of the substrate 8, that is, an opposite surface to the driving circuit 4 are provided. The substrate 8 is mechanically assembled between a gear case and the electric motor, a switching device 6 is disposed around the output shaft hole 9, the output shaft of the electric motor is pierced through the output shaft hole 9 to be linked with a steering mechanism, and the brush and the switching device 6 are connected through a wiring which is passed through the wiring hole 10.
