PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actively perform detailed failure diagnosis of facility equipment to detect a failure part. SOLUTION: A failure diagnostic device 10 is provided with an information acquisition part 11 and a failure diagnostic part 12. The information acquisition part 11 obtains information from the facility equipment 20. The failure diagnostic part 12 operates a part 33 to be diagnosed of the facility equipment 20 and diagnoses failure of the part 33 to be diagnosed based on the information that the information acquisition part 11 obtains when the facility equipment 20 stops. Here, the facility equipment 20 includes, for example, air conditioning facility 30, electric facility 40, lighting facility 50, and equipment used in fire prevention and theft prevention facility 60. Moreover, the information that the information acquisition part 11 obtains from the facility equipment 20 includes, for example, information obtained from a means detecting operation of the part 33 to be diagnosed of thermometer, hygrometer, pressure gage, and ammeter attached to the facility equipment 20 or other facility equipment 20.
