PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder device, and a method and an apparatus for manufacturing the same, in which a bracket can be fixed to a cylinder without forming convex part toward an inside of the cylinder. SOLUTION: An external cylinder 2 and a fitting bracket 4 are inserted in a fixture 10, and an extrusion molding mechanism 15 is lowered and positioned at an initial position. A rod 18a is extended while oil liquid is supplied from a hydraulic pump to a hydraulic cylinder 18, and cams 22a and 22b are brought close to each other. Accordingly each block 25 is moved outside in a radial direction, and part of the external cylinder 2 corresponding to a protruding part 25a is protruded for deformation from the inside to the outside. The part protruded for deformation (the convex part 2a) gets in a bore hole 4a (a recessed part) of the fitting bracket 4. The fitting bracket 4 is fixed to the external cylinder 2 by fitting the convex part 2a in the bore hole 4a. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
