PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension arm of sufficient rigidity which is easily manufactured by processing one steel plate. SOLUTION: In the suspension arm 1 in which a main component of an open section with a lower side opened is formed by pressing one plate, and a vehicle body side fitting part and a wheel side fitting part are provided on the major component, an extension part 1a of the major component extending toward the wheel side fitting part comprises a basic surface 8 and front and rear longitudinal wall surfaces 9 formed by folding edge parts downwardly from the basic surface 8, and a projecting/recessed shape 21 is formed on the wheel side fitting part side of the front and rear longitudinal wall surfaces 9.
