PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous rubber stamping body, with which a clear sealing can be realized due to no rupture of the sealing face developing even through the application of an excessive pressing force at sealing and consequently neither excessive efflux of occluded stamp ink nor thickening nor bleeding of sealed characters develops, the consumption of the stamp ink and the wear of the sealing face can be prevented from developing and, at the same time, no physical properties of the stamping body lowers over a long period of time. SOLUTION: This porous rubber stamping body has open cells, which are obtained by vulcanizing a master batch prepared by kneading a raw rubber, a styrene-butadiene rubber with at least 75% of styrene contents, a water-soluble fine powder, a vulcanizing agent, a filler and, when necessary, an additive or the like and then removing the water-soluble fine powder.
