PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely stop an injection molding machine at the time of abnormality. SOLUTION: A mold device is clamped by a mold clamping device, and a molded product is molded by filling the cavity space of the mold assembly with the resin injected by an injection apparatus. With the start of mold closing, a mold side member for fitting a movable mold 16 is advanced. The strain quantity of a strain member arranged between the mold side member and a toggle side member connected to a toggle mechanism 21 is monitored in a prescribed section until the end of mold closing, and the injection molding machine is stopped when the strain quantity reaches a set value.
