PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spherical structure which comprises a small number of components and is easy to assemble as the spherical structure constituted in a spherical shell shape having an external surface in honeycomb pattern by arraying a plurality of nearly regularly pentagonal plates (11) and nearly regularly hexagonal plates (12) along a virtual spherical surface. SOLUTION: Vicinities of borders of three plates comprising the nearly regularly pentagonal plates (11) and two nearly regularly hexagonal plates (12) and (12) respectively joined with two adjacent sides of the plates are connected by connecting mechanisms, which fix corner parts of the nearly regularly hexagonal plates (12), one over the other, to seat plates (25) projecting out from the corner parts of the nearly regularly pentagonal plates (11) corresponding to the border parts with fixing screws (16).
