A hole cover for a motor vehicle, provided to seal a panel in an insertion portion for a steering element. The hole cover has a steering element-penetrating portion through which the steering element penetrates, an elastic seal portion in close contact with a seal face formed on an opening edge of the panel, and a connection portion brought into press contact with the panel substantially along the axis of the steering element.
