<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable prevention of contracture of the upper and the lower half of the body and the waist by a patient's own strength by providing care for the patient lying down on a bed so as to bend joints of arms, the back, the waist and knees on the bed. <P>SOLUTION: A gripping bar 2 is provided across the bed at a height allowing the patient 25 to reach by hands while lying down, with which the patient performs motion of gripping so as to prevent the contracture of the upper half of the body. A foot-pushing bar 4 is provided across the bed at a height allowing the patient to reach with soles of the feet, with which the patient performs motion of pushing it with the soles of the feet so as to prevent the contracture of the lower half of the body. One side of a sheet 10 laid on the bed is hung up so as to slantly receive the back of the patient 25 lying down for enabling the patient 25 to turn over on the bed in order to prevent the contracture of the waist. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
