<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of a failure by surely grasping a necessary process control state at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A copying device 1 is provided with a general purpose connector 26 (connection means of process control state detection means) with which a plurality of kinds of state detection sensors (process control state detection means) which detect any of a state of a photoreceptor or states of various kinds of process equipment as the process control state can selectively be connected and can display its detection result on an operation part 20 when a state detection sensor 22c or 22c' capable of detecting the necessary process control state with the general purpose connector 26. In addition, data communication equipment is connected with a communication I/F 25 (such connection is unnecessary if the copying device is provided with a function of the data communication equipment) and when the state detection sensor 22c or 22c' is connected with the general purpose connector 26, a management device 4 can be informed of the process control state as the detection result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
