<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system capable of executing intentional and sufficient promotion for provision of electronic information. <P>SOLUTION: An information providing server 21 is provided with an advertisement information adding means for adding advertisement information supplied from an advertisement client to the electronic information provided to a terminal 41E, a benefit storage means for storing a benefit in each of an information receiver and the advertisement client, and an advertisement addition determining means for determining whether the advertisement information is added to the electronic information based on an input result in the terminal 41A or not. The benefit storage means has a function for conducting storage to reduce the benefit in the advertisement client based on the advertisement information when the advertisement client supplies the electronic information to add the advertisement information to the information providing server 21, and a function for conducting the storage to maintain the benefit in the terminal 41A when the advertisement information is determined to be added to the electronic information provided to the terminal 41A, and for conducting the storage to reduce the benefit in the terminal 41A as consideration, when the advertisement information is not determined to be added to the electronic information provided to the terminal 41A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
