摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably clamp a magnetic disk with a desired coercive force by preventing the deformation or the like of a mechanism component for clamping the magnetic disk in a magnetic disk device. SOLUTION: The fastening part 42 of a hub 25 disposed in the disk driving mechanism 20 of a magnetic disk device 1 is at least provided with a held part 45 directly held between the nonscrew hole part 7 of one end (tip part) of a motor shaft 26 and the head part 41 of a clamp screw 39 in a position more inside than the outer diameter of the contact part of the motor shaft 26 with the hub 25. That is, at the disk driving mechanism 20, the hub 25 is fastened to the motor shaft 26 in the form of direct holding between the end of the motor shaft 26 and the head part 41 of the clamp screw 39 by the fastening force of the clamp screw 39.
