PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inkjet head and an inkjet printer in which a driving IC is not subjected to adverse effect of heat generated from a driving circuit board by dissipating heat appropriately. SOLUTION: An inkjet head chip 15 having an ink ejection opening at the forward end face 15b, and driving circuit boards 19a and 19b each provided with a driving IC of the inkjet head chip connected through flexible wiring boards 18a and 18b are contained in a housing frame 14 thus constituting an inkjet head 2. The housing frame is integrally provided with a heat radiation plate 14k being secured with the driving circuit boards and conducting heat generated therefrom to a carriage 3 through the housing frame.
