PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car navigation apparatus that can scroll map images that are indicated by bird's-eye view with presence. SOLUTION: When a user instructs to scroll map images in a direction that differs from the visual field direction of the map images being indicated by bird's-eye view on a display 1, an ECU 4 calculates the angle difference between the visual field direction of the map images displayed on the display 1 and the scroll direction instructed by the user, and reads the corresponding horizon inclination graph from a memory 3.
