PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless LAN (local area network) system capable of preventing deterioration in the communication performance and performing excellent wireless communication without the need for a terminal to monopolize a network. SOLUTION: When a client terminal makes a communication with an AP 3 and receives a communication request from other client terminal, the AP 3 first transmits a wait request to the other client terminal, starts count operations of a communication time at the same time, and the AP 3 is configured to make communication control and start communication with the other client terminal by terminating the communication with the client terminal when a prescribed communication time is counted.
