PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave absorber and an electromagnetic wave absorbing complex with excellent radio wave absorptivity in a wide range stably and economically. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic wave absorber contains an organic polymer, an organic polymer flow improving agent that is a liquid at a room temperature, and at least one of a dielectric loss material and a magnetic loss material, and it is substantially a solid at a room temperature having a thickness of 0.2 to 20mm. The absorption loss of magnetic waves at a specific frequency is 10dB or higher, and the ratio of tearing strength measured in g to the thickness is 100 g/mm or more. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
