PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive pellet type thermal fuse suppressing sublimation due to high temperature storage, etc., softening compression and softening deformation of a thermosensitive pellet and difficult to receive influences of a storing environment and a using environment with high reliability and few changes in a manufacturing process, and to provide a method for manufacturing the thermosensitive pellet to be used for the thermosensitive pellet type thermal fuse. SOLUTION: By using at least two or more kinds of thermosensitive materials having different melting points for the thermosensitive pellet, the thermosensitive material having the melting point to melt at an objective operating temperature of the thermal fuse is made as a main composition, and the other thermosensitive material having the melting point higher than that of the main composition is made as a subcomposition. After each of the thermosensitive materials is granulated, the thermosensitive materials are blent and mixed to have a prescribed volume ratio to make a thermosensitive pellet. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
