PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for fixing an optical module onto a printed circuit board where the optical module can be compactly mounted and is easily replaced. SOLUTION: A printed circuit board 1A has two through holes 1c. An optical module 2A arranged in the vicinity of the through holes 1c is fixed on the printed circuit board 1A by using a fixation means provided with: an upper surface 3a abutted on the upper surface 2b of the optical module 2A; two legs 3b extending downward along both sides 2b of the optical module 2A from both side edges of the upper surface 3a; and locking claws 3c formed at the toes of the legs 3b, inserted into the through holes 1c, and locked at the under surface 1b side of substrate 1A.
