PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder lock which prevents physical breakage as unauthorized action, and prevents the exposure of the interior caused by the strong impact of breaking action, to thereby improve the crime-preventive performance thereof. SOLUTION: The cylinder lock 10 has a cylinder 30 and a housing 20. The cylinder 30 has an almost cylindrical contour, and has a key hole 35 formed in the front surface into which a key is insertable. The housing 20 has an almost cylindrical contour, and has the cylinder 30 arranged in a cylinder portion. The cylinder lock 10 comprises a protective cap 50 and a protective member 40. The protective cap 50 has a peripheral wall 51 on the circumferential portion of an almost circular front plate 52, and is placed on the front surface 36 of the cylinder 30 and the front edge of the housing 20, whereby the opening edge 53 of the peripheral wall 51 is rotatably borne to the peripheral surface of the front edge. The protective member 40 has an insertion hole 41 into which the key is inserted, and is pinched by the protective cap 50 and the front surface 36 of the cylinder 30.
