PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting apparatus for die casting with which molten metal can be filled into every corner in the inner periphery of a product cavity having annular shape or the like and a blow hole does not occur in a casted product. SOLUTION: A gas storing space 23 is formed at the upper side of the inner periphery of the product cavity 7 in the casting apparatus for die casting, and the gas storing space 23 is constituted of a first space 25 continuative to the product cavity 7 and a second space 27 connected with the first space 25 through a narrow passage, and a gas venting passage 29 at the inner peripheral side is successively provided in the second space 27. The gas venting passage 29 at the inner peripheral side is constituted of a chill vent 31 directly connected with the second space 27 and a gas exhaust passage 33 for exhausting the gas to out of the die, formed so as to communicate with the chill vent 31 and transpierce the moving die 5.
