PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice pearling mill for domestic use having a compact size with a minimum of noise, being capable of improving taste of rice due to a deodorizing and sterilizing effect of carbon, and of being convenient for use because of its enlarged storage capacity for unpolished rice. SOLUTION: The rice pearling mill for domestic use wherein the unpolished rice supplied to a hopper 4 at the upper part of a housing body 2 is polished within a polishing screen 6 while transferred with a conveyor screw 8 rotated by a driving motor 12, polished rice and rice bran being respectively dropped to storage boxes 14, 16 below, is characterized in that the conveyor screw 8 is placed in the housing body 2 by means of bearings 34, 36, that the drive motor 12 is fixed on the bottom of the housing body 2 and connected to the conveyor screw 8 via a belt 20, and that a front opening of the housing body 2 is opened/closed with doors 18, 20 having sealing rings 48, 50 on their contact surfaces.
