A safety device (10) is fitted at one point of the long edge of the planking (4) to keep the planks (9) in place and position. The safety device consists of a manually adjustable bolt bent into a semicircle and a bolt guide in partly semicircular shape fixed to and lined up with the planking. The radius of the bolt semicircle corresponds to the thickness of the planks and the center point of the bolt guide is on the bottom edge of the plank (9). The bolt guide comes in quadrant shape in the bolt movement sense to ensure that the bolt hooks down in function setting to protend endstoppably along the plank underside. The bolt thus hooks into a hole of the perforated sheeting (6) or onto a ledger (3). In rest position, the bolt retracts non-protrudably within the plank thickness.
