The present invention relates to an integrated circuit information transfer system and a method for integrated circuit information transfer. The invention is based on the idea that cross-talk between two electrically coupled signal conduits (102, 104) can be utilized to perform information transfer from one signal conduit (102) to the other (104). At least two conduits (102, 104) are arranged such that the conduits (102, 104) are electrically coupled to each other, thus enabling cross-talk. A signal transition is propagating on a first signal conduit (102) in form of either rising or falling transitions. The electrical coupling will induce a voltage peak or glitch on a second signal conduit (104). A receiver (103), e.g. an amplifier on the second conduit (104) can transform this peak or glitch into a full signal transition.
