<p>A network architecture (20) for a gaming environment includes a plurality of gaming devices (24) configured to generate and output data and a data repository (22) adapted to collect data provided by the plurality of gaming devices, the data repository (22) including at least one memory device. The network architecture (20) includes a plurality of disparate systems (62), the systems implementing different applications and/or utilizing different languages or communication protocols/formats, and at least one open interface (64) provided between the plurality of disparate systems (62) and the data repository (22), whereby data collected by the data repository regarding gaming operations may be transmitted to and used by any or all of the plurality of disparate systems (62), and whereby the plurality of otherwise disparate systems (62) may communicate with one another.</p> |
